Chinese Tofu
Ingredients:
• 2 Chinese sausage (available at Asian markets)
• 2 medium firm tofu cake
• Green onions cut into January 1-inch sections
• 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
• 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon soy sauce
• 0,8 glasses of water
• 3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
• Pinch of MSG
Method:
1. Place sausages in steamer for 12 minutes in China. Trimming them into thin slices
2. Tofu cut into 12 square pieces.
3. Vegetable oil in wok and heat over medium heat. 3 minutes until golden brown fried tofu. Drain with paper towels and set aside
4. Wok and heat 1 teaspoon vegetable oil. Onion and pepper stir fry about 2 minutes. Salt, soy sauce, water, and add the fried tofu. Stir and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes
5. Chinese sausage and add the cornstarch mixture. Mix the sauce until thickened.
